Improving Stream Habitat: Understanding Woody Additions

Join foresters Charlie Moreno and George Main, along with Kelly Boland from NRCS, for a walk in the Branch Hill Farm woods to see firsthand how strategically adding tree trunks to streams can enhance habitat, improve water quality, mitigate flood risk, and prevent erosion.

Do you care for a stream on your property? This workshop will offer insights and resources for applying these strategies at home.

Long pants, long sleeves, boots, and natural bug spray are recommended. We will spend a large portion of the workshop walking along woodland terrain.

We will gather at the woodland access road near the corner of Mason Rd and Teneriffe Rd in Milton, NH. Exact location and parking instructions will be shared after registration.

Registration is limited to 15 participants.
