Moose Mountains Regional Greenways is excited to announce the permanent conservation of the 195-acre Shillaber Property in Farmington and Strafford, NH. This ecologically significant land protects critical wildlife habitat and wetlands within the Berry River watershed—an important drinking water source for Rochester—and offers public access to two miles of trails for low-impact recreation. The project was made possible through strong partnerships, public support, and grants from LCHIP and the Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund.
We invite you to join us for the grand opening celebration of the Shillaber Property—come explore the trails, learn about the conservation efforts, and enjoy this beautiful new public space.
