Habitat Enhancement for the Web of Life with Dan Stepanauskas
Saturday, October 24 10am-12pm
Wakefield, NH — The workshop will take place on the Donahue lot (Tax Map 190, Lot 2) on Route 109A, also known as Lovell Lake Road. The site is approximately 0.5 miles west of the Maine state line and 0.8 miles east of Oak Hill Road, making it easy to find from either direction.
Where do woodland creatures like to rest, restore, and reproduce? Whose habitats overlap? What are the ingredients that make for great burrows, dens, nooks and crannies where life thrives? On this guided walk with forester Dan Stepanauskas, we will learn how to steward forests to provide habitat for all in the great web of life.
Please be mindful of uneven terrain, wear sturdy shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather.
This event is part of Branch Hill Farm’s Endangered Species Awareness Month.
