Guided Fungi Walk at Casey Road Conservation Area

Join the NH Mycological Society (NHMS), the Milton Conservation Commission, and Moose Mountains Regional Greenways on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a Guided Fungi Walk at Casey Road Conservation Land in Milton, NH.

Three NHMS Board members and experienced mushroom foragers will share their expertise and enthusiasm for all things fungi. Each forager will lead a group of 10–15 participants into the woods to collect both edible and non-edible mushrooms, along with other types of fungi. After the walk, the collected specimens will be displayed on tables for observation and educational discussion.

This event is free, but space is limited to 40 participants, and advance registration is required. Kids are welcome! Registered participants will receive a confirmation email with details about parking, what to bring, and information regarding a possible postponement due to inclement weather.

The rain date is Sunday, October 5. 🐾 No pets, please.
