Forest History Walk with Charlie Moreno

Saturday, August 15 10:30am-12:30pm

New Hampshire Farm Museum

1305 White Mountain Hwy, Milton, NH 03851

Forests have been actively shaped by humans for millennia. On this guided walk through Plummer’s Ridge with forester Charlie Moreno, we will pay mind to how local communities have engaged with, stewarded, and enjoyed these woods throughout history.

This event is part of the special event, Finding your Roots: Celebrating 250 Years in Milton, New Hampshire at the NH Farm Museum. We will convene at Branch Hill Farm’s booth at the event. From there, we will walk down the road to the Plummer’s Ridge trail network to begin our journey through time. After the workshop we encourage you to enjoy the array of activities back at the NH Farm Museum!

Spaces for this event are limited.
