Apple Grafting Workshop

Participants will start with a beginner-friendly overview of grafting techniques, then dive into guided practice with orchardist and Branch Hill Farm Executive Director Jared Kane.

Everyone will head home with a young apple tree they grafted themselves, using a scion (living shoot) from one of several cherished local heirloom trees. Weather and time allowing, the class will also enjoy a brief stroll to see the newly established Preservation Orchard at Branch Hill Farm.

This workshop will be in an unheated building with space heaters; please dress warm!

A minimum $15 donation to MMRG is requested to register.
