Lang Easement

About Lang Easement
The Lang Conservation Easement is an active project to protect 87 acres off Trask Mountain Road in Wolfeboro, NH. This conservation easement presents an exciting opportunity for MMRG as it would be the very first project in Wolfeboro. The property itself is host to many high value natural resource values that make it worth protecting. The property directly abuts 170 acres of land and is close proximity over 800 acres of other conserved land. Approximately 74 acres of the property has been identified by New Hampshire Fish and Game as being high value wildlife habitat and the entirety of the property is considered to have permeability for wildlife movement through the landscape. The Young's Brook flows through the property creating over 12 acres of wetland habitat including an old beaver compound. Protection of this property will add another key piece of land to growing greenway in the Wolfeboro area and protect valuable wetland features and wildlife habitat.
