Branch Hill Farm New Trails Forestry Walk

Moose Mountains Regional Greenways (MMRG) and Branch Hill Farm/the Carl Siemon Family Charitable Trust (BHF/CSFCT) will offer the public a chance to explore new trails on Branch Hill Farm property in Milton across from the NH Farm Museum. This free outing will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 12 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with guide Charlie Moreno, a BHF consulting forester.Charlie Moreno has practiced as a consulting forester for more than thirty years. He has managed over 30,000 acres of forests for private landowners, conservation organizations, and communities in southern New Hampshire and Maine. On this walk, he will point out recent forestry practices completed on this tract of land and will talk about these practices will enhance the wildlife habitat and improve the quality of the trees. The outing will encompass about two miles of walking, including some new trails down to the Branch River.This event is presented by MMRG, BHF and the NH Farm Museum.
