Branch Hill Farm and Moose Mountains Regional Greenways are excited to announce a new upcoming workshop addressing the philosophy and practice of landscaping your home for both beauty and ecological function. Georgia Elgar of Branch Hill Farm in Milton Mills, NH will be explaining the importance and methods of ecologically-minded home gardening. Native plants, food forests, pollinator gardens, permaculture, composting, and organic lawn-care are some examples of topics that will be discussed.  Learn how to treat your slice of land as part of your greater surrounding ecosystem and watershed!

Georgia is the Education Programs Coordinator at Branch Hill Farm as well as the owner of her small fine gardening business, Peachy Keen Gardening, LLC. She is a NH Certified Landscaping Professional and Accredited Organic Land Care Professional. She has been farming and/or gardening organically for over 8 years and has a degree in Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems from UNH. Please bring your landscaping and gardening questions to this informative gardening workshop. This workshop will take place rain or shine.
