This project will encompass approximately 177 acre conservation easement in the town of Ossipee, with close proximity to other conserved lands include the NH Fish and Game Garland Pond Wildlife Management Area, the Simpson Conservation easement project and several other ongoing MMRG projects. This beautiful privately owned property includes 2,500 ft of frontage along the Beech River, a 10 acre wetlands complex with beaver activity and an active heron rookery.

The property is certified 3rd generation tree farm, that is being actively managed with a licensed forester. The interior of the property boasts beautiful wet meadows, forests, fields, intricate stone walls and several old foundations. The property has some of the highest ranked habitat in NH and the region. According to NH Fish and Game much of the parcel is considered to a prioritized habitat block making it a great candidate for conservation!
